Oh im not diggen the outcome?

So I went from black hair to blonde (my natural color). Yes I know this is a big job and although the people did a pretty good job stripping the black out, the "dark blonde with light blonde highlights" seem more red/orangish. However the "light blonde highlights" came out great and I don閳ユ獩 know why they didn閳ユ獩 do that to all my hair...I want to go back towards my platinum hair i had before, or at least as close as I can. Anyone have an idea on how to do this on my own with out turning my hair orange, pink or something worse. I would go back to the salon but already spending a HUGE amount one the first round to not like the outcome and feel it would not be financially reasonable. Before all this I always did my own hair and did a great job. I just would like some advise and help getting close to the color I want.

Oh im not diggen the outcome?

you cant do all your hair at once or it will tun out orange. Like bright orange. and it will ruin your hair. if they do highlights a few times, it wont ruin your hair and it wont turn a nasty orange. If you really have a problem with it and what to fix it yourself, you should get hair bleach, and toner. Have someone bleach it for it, and im sure you can do the tonner yourself. And deep condition like crazy!

I wonder why your hair came out brassy. I would go back to them and have them fix it! That should be there responsibility, especially because they came out brassy (orange/red). I wonder if they just didn't use a toner on you. Tell them you would like them to fix it, or you want your money back. There really is no at home remedy you could use that wont damage your hair. All that bleaching and dying is just going to make your hair frizz and burn.

I don't know but I WOULD go back to the Salon. You could ask why they didn't do it to all of your hair.

Hope this helps x

A good salon should fix this for you for free once you've had it done once there. Your head is their billboard. Your mouth is their advertisement. If they won't fix it, don't go there again.

It is nice to tip the colorist though, particularly if she is not the one who did it the first time.

Unless you absolutely have to, don't try to fix this yourself.
