Does it matter if your hair color is different then its color on your passport?

Like if your natural color is brown and on your passport picture its brown. but you want to dye it like bright blue, pink or green before you leave. would it matter...would they not let you get on the plane or something

Not a problem as long as you still look reasonably like the person in the picture. I started shaving my head a couple years ago, and I've never had a problem even though I have a full head of hair in my passport picture.

No problem. I'd have banned a thousand times over if that was an issue.

People change haircolor everyday, why should that matter as long as you don't go and get plastic surgery and change youe face!!

It's best that you look as much like your passport photo as possible. Our US passports are valid for 10 years unless you get your current one before the age of 16. Than it may expire sooner.

They do take into account your aging process and such things as clothes and hairstyles that make you look different from your passport photo. But to deliberately dye your hair in a vastly different color from that in your photo just before you leave sounds like a pretty inadvisable thing to do to me.

probably not...these custom people are very experienced in detecting the "real" you...
