my best friend copies me. i have always liked rock music, and loved to be unique. we have been best friends for years and i'm 13 years old. but she copies EVERYTHING. when i tell her what music I like, she will have it on her myspace the next day. i LOVE the pirates films, and she puts quotes from the films on her myspace and says them all the time. i am having a halloween party and am going as a pirate, so is she. i dyed some of my hair pink, so is she. I'm getting fed up of it because i was out with her and i saw a waistcoat i had and pointed it out and she bought it as well as another top i said i have. i play the guitar, now she plans to learn it. i can't say anything to her because she's SOOO sensitive. Help!

Well, if you are not sensitive then she is not just like you. Stop telling her what you have and tell her you have things that you don't. then she will not be like you any more.

Your friend doesn't seem to have a mind of her own. Instead of getting upset with her copying, take it as a compliment. A lot of people "copy" what celebrities wear and I'm sure you do too...

Urggh, i know what you mean, when i was that age my best friend always copied everything i did...
Eventually at high school when all my classes were split up, i made new friends so did she, so it became less of a problem...
I also used to find something i hated, and i'd tell her i liked it, so she'd like it, and i wouldnt really, so she wouldnt copy that thing...
or if i liked something, i'd tell her i didnt just so she didnt.
It shows she likes your taste :)! But yeah, it can be annoying.
Ask her why she does it! and tell her it annoys you, but you dont wanna fall out, and she might realise and come to her scenses and stop it!!#

I think she just looks up to you and admires your style...my friend and I used to be the same way...except we copied each other...and eventually we found our own style....we were alike but in our own ways....if it bothers you that much...try suggesting something a little diffrent for her...like when she wants to wear the same thing you're wearing...suggets something else...like..."hey...I think this looks better on you".......and don't get over whelmed.....that's happened to me at my highschool....I was a trend setter....but anyone who knows you will know that "you did it first...you shouldn't get all bent out of shape over it....take it as a compliment....lol
