Does this hairstyle sound stupid?

Right now i have long blonde hair and shoulder length layers. I was thinking of getting bangs that go straight across and kind of come to my eyebrow so they are a little low.Then cut my hair to just below shoulder length with choppy layers. Then i am going to dye my hair pink underneath. I want kind of a funky hairstyle but I don't want to look wierd. I am in high school so i want it to be practical. Does this make sense or does it sound stupid? My face is kind of ovalish or heart shaped.

I am just looking for an opinion.

The overall hairstyle as well as the dye and cut sounds really cute, not weird. It would look amazing, espcially with a cute black bow/black headband to top it off.

umm.. well i love the bangs and the layers. I wouldn't go so dramatic on the color though. If you are thinking about permanently dying your hair, you should think really hard about it, but if it is just for fun and "do-it-yourself" type of thing, it would be really cute. Try it for a say (with non-permanent dye) and see what others' reaction's are.

i think the style would look nice but the pink is something i wouldnt do. if i saw someone with that hair though, i wouldnt think theyre stupid. i would just think theyre creative and not afraid to express themselves =)

i think that sounds really cute! even with the pink. i would do it. this hairstyle looks around what you described-but in a ponytail and a little shorter. just tell them the length with this style if this is what you mean. sounds really cute! go for it!

I absolutely love your idea! I did the same thing as you last month (same previous haircut and everything) only I dyed it a brunette color all-over. I LOVE it! The bangs are a little more upkeep, but I really think you should try the cut. The pink underneath is great if you have SUPER blonde hair, but it can look really silly if it's on dirty blonde hair or if it's unstyled. i think that would be really cute! i wish i had that kinda spunk to pull off something like that but i dont think it would work well with me. maybe you should try a temp. hair color for the pink and then see how it looks but i think it would look iight. i attempted to look for a picture and found none. =( sorry but good luck with your hair! also look in some hairstyle magazines.. i'm sure you'll find something similar to what you want.

Go for it! I know a girl with pink hair underneath, she got it done permanently, and it looks awesome! It's only hair, have fun with it!

So yes for the pink, and yes for the bangs, too.

Straight across bangs look amazing, and they also look great when you kinda brush them to the side.
