At what age should I get my hair dyed?

I know my mother and father wont be mad but I just dont know how Ill do it because I know if I dye it the colour I want(red or neon pink)they wont shut up about it and they will start talking about how Im ''growing up''.I dont know where to get the colours and how Im going to do it without my parents and family to find out.

If your hairs black as in the picture neon pink or bright red might not come out well.I had dark brown hair and I coloured it red when I was 12 and it didnt come out as bright as i wanted it to it just looked more coloured.So if you want to really have crazy bright red/neon pink hair you might have to dye it a bright colour before dyeing the colour you want which cant be good for your hair.

Idk how old you are or your situation but your never too young to dye your hair, well maybe but that's besides the point. Well you could stop in at a hair salon and get some dye and go to a friends house, or next time you go to get your hair styled/cut tell them to dye it.

You're old enough to dye your hair, but since it's your first time I would recommend dying it a color that doesn't stand out too much, to get your parents and yourself used to the fact of having a different hair color. Dark red is a good color, it stands out without it being too wacky. See a professional for advice on what color would be good for you. They know better than anyone else.

Do bear in mind that firstly, at your age you probably have lovely hair anyway!

Also, hair dye is not good for you; it's been linked to some really nasty diseases, including breast cancer, and bladder cancer.

If you really are keen to try a different colour, consider having highlights or lowlights; that way the dye doesn't have to touch your scalp/skin - be sure and tell the hairdresser that the dye mustn't touch your scalp!
