OK, I'm of mixed heritage so I'll try to help if you are really serious hear, be careful, you little girls hair is most likely very delicate but curly. Brush it don't let it tangle or mat. Brush it carefully don't force or pull it. Brush it with a good brush not hard metal or untipped plastic.Try parting in the center and two pony tails, use the covered hair bands not rubber bands. Look at Black hairstyle mags. Good luck, ask if ya need more info

Pink lotion has mineral oil in it and shouldn't have been used.

Try some natural products like the ones found at

http://www.mixedchicks.net

http://www.growafrohairlong.com

But to be honest with you, my niece and nephew are bi-racial and I use the same things in their hair as I use in mine as any Caucasian person would use.

You need some good moisturizing products.

Tresemme Vitamin E or Vo5 Strawberries and Cream

A good gel, maybe like

Fantasia IC Clear with clear lites (It doesn't flake)

Beyond the Zone Kill the Kink (purple tube)

And a good oil something like a Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
