He is naturally brown but his hair that is left is very fine and his body is black he acts normal i dont see nothing wrond with his behavior he just looks really bad is it to late for me to take him to the vet and can mange kill. And if you have any ideas on how to kill the mange without vetenarian help can u share them with me

Burnt motor oil is supposed to cure it...I'm not so sure. I have 5 dogs and someone dropped another off in the road at my house, it had mange all my dogs got mange. I took them to the vet and he perscribed a bath for them. One of my pyrs died but the rest of them got over it just fine...you should take him to the vet!

You will definately need to take him to a vet if you're sure he has mange. The vet will need to do a skin graft and check under a microscope to determine if it is for sure mange mites. It could be a dermititis problem. yes there is a cure for mange only it's contagious to other dogs so you'll want to keep him confined and away from any dogs until he has been cured since it's a mite that causes the problems. they will probably prescribe a topical ointment or pills, never had to deal with mange so not sure. I'd be sure to treat any areas he sleeps like dog beds. A wash in HOT water should kill them.

It is a very simple fix: SUNSCREEN

You can go to any pet store and get a dog-based sunscreen. Most white dogs that have pigments will turn pink if the white skin is exposed to sun.

The best, and probably only, thing you could do to help your pup is to take it to the vets. The vet will correctly diagnose the problem and if it is indeed mange, then your dog will need to be treated with meds that only a vet can provide.

If your dog does have mange, it then could be one of three types that are common to dogs. They range from mildly severe to extremely severe, with the latter actually having the potential to kill if not treated.

The main thing to keep in mind is that mange is highly contagious. You will need to isolate your dog from any others until you can determine exactly what he has.

So first find out if it's mange or just a skin allergy. Then treat the problem before it gets out of hand. Your pup is relying on you for help.
