French rolls (french twists, what ever) are simple, sophisticated, and easy to do. They're especially good for shoulder lenght since you won't have any excess hair to tuck away.

As for pink top and black pants.

I reconmend a white shirt. And pants should not be stretchy unless you're at the gym. Well fitted though.

Put your hair in a low side ponytail (next to your ear, not the 80's style!). Take small sections of your ponytail and curl them. It doesn't matter how big the curling iron is. BUT, spray a little spritz or hairspray on the strand first, then curl. But if there's dancing involved, the hair does get a little annoying! When you're done, put the ponytail on the front of your shoulder, where people can see it. BTW, keep your hair parted on the top.
