i'm thinking of dying my hair pink (again), because i believe in self-expression and not paying attention to what others think, but lately i've been wondering whether people really do consider bright haircolors unattractive or whether they think it's interesting or cool.

Pink itself can be a great color on some people but style plays a big role.Short hair is best with pink usually it makes it pop just not an over the top style.Normal cuts with pink are good.

However steer clear of bright colors if you want a job or need to make an important first impression.People have a tendancy to judge before you open your mouth.When in doubt try a rinse not permanent.

It all depends on the person. If you have the self-confidence to pull it off and feel great, than go for it! There are some people who do look pretty good and others who don't.. It all depends on the individual.

I personally love bright colors. I have been coloring my hair that way for a lot more years than I would care to admit. Go for it! Its your hair and the truth is you are not hurting anyone by doing so. Its just a form of make-up and nobody says a word about those who choose to apply bright colors ti their skin.

I find unnatural hair colors to look rather silly and juvenile. But if you're very young, you can get away with looking that way.

depends on your environment on what colors you can get away with. For the under 20 in hip, trendy, club type atmosphere... hot pink is fun! But in the real world of business suits... yea prolly wouldn't work there! lol

As far as color choice, go with what you like... you're coloring your hair for you and not for anyone else right? I had to stop and compliment a guy on his foot high mohawk one night just becuase it was so awesome, I couldn't do it, or don't have any friends that could do it, but if he could, kudos to him!

if you are happy w/ it, who cares/ its all you in the mirror,right? go with what is comfortable I personally like the bright colors if they are kept up...I think its unatractive if its faded out or half grown out.

Sometimes. It depends on the person and their personal style, if it looks like they're trying to hard or its a bad color job, then yes. However, if they are expressing their individuality and they've achieved a radical look that looks awesome with their style and personality, then no.

I think dying it all no.... but when they do the ectensions or dye pieces of their hair, it loks cool. But you also put into consideration that not all jobs allow such look so be carefull.

I'm the mother of a 17 year old daughter whose hair has been red, blue, coal black, blonde, and her natural brown. Don't worry about what other people think. It's YOUR hair, and whatever makes you feel more attractive will result in your BEING more attractive. If you work, though, make sure there are no restrictions in your workplace. Enjoy being you !!!

I think there cool, on the right people, but if like a middle-aged woman, does hers bright, it sends a message she's desperate to look younger at all cost!!! Everyone else, especially Billy Idol as old as he is looks, totally rad!!!

I'm not everybody but I am 46 years old and I still do anything I feel like doing with my hair...colors black with red are hot....style why wear just one? I sport short hair with longer hair on top... live life to the fullest enjoy

You need to wear a color well. This includes wearing makeup and wearing clothes that compliment an unusual hair color...If people comment on your clothing and shoes and or life style as unique, then I think you will be happy with an unusual hair color..hope this helps...:)
