Are people gonna look back at our time period and go, "Damn, it must've sucked to live bac

I'm saying people from the year 4000 are gonna look back at our customs, culture, technology and feel lucky to have been born during that year. I mean we have so much mistreatment for gays, minorities, transsexuals, tomboys and "tomgirls", people who dye their hair pink and have tatooes, etc....

Do you think we'll fully accept "different" people 2000 years from now?

Are people gonna look back at our time period and go, "Damn, it must've sucked to live back then"?

LOL

I always think about that when I look at the 1800s and before then. But the technology (if humans don't destroy the world) would be AWESOME by then. Man, I'd love to visit the year 4000 just for a few minutes.

Most people look back on their childhood and teen years with fondness. It's called nostalgia.

As for 2000 years from now, that puts a bit of a different spin on things. By then, people probably will have invented a whole different category of people to mistreat.

I think we're going to go ''back in time'' (just a theory). After all, history repeats itself.

Are people gonna look back at our time period and go, "Damn, it must've sucked to live back then"?

not really because it'll be worse by then.

Are people gonna look back at our time period and go, "Damn, it must've sucked to live back then"?

Indeed they will, and most of the blame will be on George W. Bush.

Are people gonna look back at our time period and go, "Damn, it must've sucked to live back then"?

Yes, I think they will.

We'll still be a close 2nd to the 1980s, though.

I hope we evolve a little in 2000 more years, but none of us will be here to know, will we?

Good luck

No they are going to look back and wonder what in the world women had to complain about. I do not see any misstreatmant for gays. Quite the opposite. Gays who accentuate their sexual orientation publicly are met with more understanding than straight men accentuating their sexuality publicly.

We already accept different people today. However different people by definition are the exception and the world will never revolve around them.

Are you about 10 years old? Think of how those people you listed would have been treated in medieval Europe? I think piling gays around a fire burning witches would have really sucked; even seeing it would have sucked. Stop complaining in that petulant little girl way you do and start doing something to work for justice; not just shooting your mouth off about something you know nothing about. The circle of morality has been and is expanding.

I said things are getting better, not perfect, little girl. As far as I can see, not being a young man, most men are indifferent to homosexuality. You are well on your way to becoming a harridan.

I think it sucks right now!
