Removing pernment dye from home?

I dyed my hair pink two months ago using SFX Atomic Pink, and it looked great, but it's starting to turn red and i'm tired of it. How can I get rid of the color without bleaching it? I want to change it back to my normal color. I've heard using Dawn detergent or Prell shampoo. Has anyone tried these? Looking for advice.

It's too late to wash it with dish soap. Go to a salon, even Snip N Clip. They will get the pink/red out for you, and dye your hair to any color. It should be about 60 dollars at the MOST.

I wouldn't recommend using dish wahing liquid. It makes your hair dry, brittle and feeling dull. Instead, buy a very cheap shampoo or anti dandruff shampoo (that being very cheap too) and scrub it in your hair.

Then rinse and repeat a few more times. Give your hair a conditioner afterwards and leave it in for 10 minutes.

By doing this, you won't get to your natural colour. However, it'll be much easier when you dye (if you choose to) your hair the natural colour. As your hair won't have too many red and pink pigments.
