I was on an a small island waiting at the general store for the next ferry boat to arrive. A lady arrives in a minivan and says from the window of her car to a friend, "I'm just taking my kids to the store."

I didn't think anything of it until she slid the middle door open and the two "kids" jumped out, they were goats! I petted them, they were friendly and wagged their little tails like dogs. Island folk are a breed apart.

I seen a squirrel going across a busy street. When a car came close to hitting it, it literally jumped onto the hood of the car, looked at the driver, and then ran off the to the sidewalk. I swear I am not crazy. I know what I seen.

When my daughter was very little she used to like running around with the spaghetti strainer on her head. Another day she took an empty cereal box and popped it on her head and walked around completely unable to see... Once she painted her tummy with my mascara and asked me if she was beautiful. Yeah, kids... my silliest moments have definitely been with them. =-)
