I'm dying my hair pink/blue and what I'm hearing from alot of people is to bleach your hair.My hair is a dark brown.I am wondering to bleach it or not.

They work really well. It's fairly simple, but if you don't understand directions, do it at a time where you could contact a local saloon if necessary. I'm pretty sure you'll need to bleach your hair lighter because the colors won't show up otherwise. Bleaching is tricky though..

Yeah you will definately have to bleach your hair or it will turn out brown with a pink or blue tint. Have a professional do this because it can be very tricky, but Sally Beauty has lots of bleach kits that are very easy to use.
