My friend is changing...? Should I be worried?

My friend is very outgoing and is a very nice person. She knows how to do karate, she curses a lot, and has lots of friends. Lately, she's cutting her blonde hair from her waist to her neck into an emo style and gelling the back into spikes. She also dyed the back of her hair purple...

Yesterday, she dyed her whole hair to pink. Now, she has piercings everywhere..she even has a lip ring. I think I've also heard her say that she wants a nose ring. At the beginning of the year, she started wearing heavy eyeliner.

The thing that I'm worried about is that she's changing so fast...I'm afraid that her personality might be changing too..
