a semi permanent color will not lighten you hair, which you need to do to get it blond. they only darken or change the current base

If it is semipermanent it will not lighten your hair..to lighten your hair you have to remove the color that is already there.

if you are going to make your hair pink it is going to have to be light first..I would go to a salon and talk to a stylist before you do anything drastic..

i did what your going to do but it was with permanent red (from hot topic)instead of pink,

what i did was i bought revlon(its like $2) bleach blonde. i had my friend help me, so you should get a friend to help you too. seprate your hair into where you want the dye. anyways follow the process it tells you on the box but wrap the chunks that your bleaching with foil, and wait the desired time you want the lighter the better.

anyways after that blow dry your hair, then go straight to applying the pink dye in the chunks, and once again if you want wrap them in foil.
