She loves electronics and she really wants a cell phone but I just have a bad feeling like she will get caught texting during the middle of clas even though she says she wouldn't do that she wants to die the underneath of her hair pink again but I didn't like it the first time she has an ipod nano second generation and I've gotten her one for the last two christmas's she wants a small dog but I don't want to deal with one right now and we are going to be 2,000 miles away for christmas so I have no idea what to get her for christmas oh and btw she doesn't want clothes oh and she loves to sing

omg! she sounds exactly like me! dont get her a cell phone. i thought they would be awesome and i was soooo disapointed after 2 weeks of using it. if you diside to get a cell phone say it needs to be off during school hours. i say let her do what she wants with her hair. tell her she can get pink streaks. get her a wii or something. get her hannah montana stuff. ummmmm a kareoke machine, i dont think a dog would be sutable for christmas considering its in 25 days and you need to find a breeder and this and that. im getting a dog for christmas and i have the breeder all delt with so im going to pick it up early march! put her in singing lessons! she might like that! why not give her money and say DO WHAT YOU WANT! PINK HAIR, CELL PHONE ANYTHING U WANT! but this is the only money you have! so tell her cell phones cost about 20+$ monthly! good luck! hope u find her something great

If she doesn't want clothes, but is still into fashion, you could maybe get her a little purse or some makeup %26amp; hair accessories. I think kids that age also like cd's (hannnah montana, jonas brothers, etc.) and also movies and computer games. The computer game 'The Sims' is very popular and they have many different versions. If you'll even consider getting her a cell phone, you should think about when and when not to text, and if she texts in class, take her phone away for a certain amount of time, and make sure she knows about the punishment to discourage texting in class

you could always compromise with the hair dye and get semi-permanent so that it washes out in a week or two

Also, a wii is a very popular toy right now. I think that if you get this they have a karaoke program for it

They have plans where the parents get to monitor their calling and also the phones they have can track where your kids are~~ that is soo good!! I would think twice before putting off the phone idea!!
